Kinja'd!!!4 Kinja'd!!! 4

So as you all may very well know, father's day is tomorrow. And this one is very special for me because it actually will be my first father's day with my family. Last year I was off job-training for a job I never got (long story), so I never got to experience it.

Last week, my daughter's gift was a HW !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! o 1:24. I love it because I absolutely love little knick knacks, something I can put on display. Of course, my wife picked it out since my awesome daughter just grabs anything off of the store shelves and cries when we take it a away. It's an interesting game I discovered by accident.

Well, when I came home yesterday I saw these two things on my dresser. One item is a green and brown bowl for my pocket items (be prepared, right?), in colors that can represent the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! uniforms (alas, I am a massive Gundam fan. Hail Zeon!). The other item, the red vested guy, is Luffy from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I don't watch as much anime anymore as I used to, but I admire any character who reaches for his dreams and does what he thinks is right regardless of the opposition.

I should mention now that my wife crochets. Yes, she made both of them, Luffy didn't even have a pattern, she modified a similar pattern for the body and made the rest up all by herself. That's pretty hardcore if you ask me.

In this picture, you can see her other creations that she gave me, mostly amigurumi. Agumon (Digimon, her 1st creation), Gir (Invader Zim), Sock Octopus (idk, its pretty cool), and now Luffy. Plus some unsolved Rubik's cubes because someone is messing with my OCD....

Kinja'd!!!

I just wanted to share this because this is my first real father's day coming up, and each present puts a bigger smile on my face. I love my family.

Enjoy it. It is a special thing. awesome work by your wife as well!

My 4 year old is itching to tell me what they got me. I've had to stop her a few times already. Good fun.

it is amazing how quickly they start to express their thoughts and opinions once they start talking. They go from being babies to people very quickly. It also makes life much, much easier for the parents when they can just tell you what they want.

Yep, I'm totally expecting to here 'chocolate', and then it's my turn for getting the 'worst dad ever' award by saying no. Still, i can't wait to converse with her.
